Event Overview The Ascent 5K is a run, walk, or roll event hosted by The Phoenix Journey, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering those with autoimmune diseases to change and sustain a new lifestyle in order to improve their current state of disease one person at a time. This event isn’t just a race, it’s a movement of resilience, community, and hope. This year, to make it extra special, we are encouraging group participants to come rocking their best costumes.
