The Dirty Wookie 10K & 5K is a one-of-kind Halloween themed running event taking place in Downtown Reno featuring two unique courses and distances. Come in costume, if you'd like, and join a few thousand other runners/walkers for an unforgettable running experience through the city. The 10K course (new to 2026!) is Reno's only point-to-point 10K. Starting at Reno Running Company – LAKESIDE the course winds through Virginia Lake, beautiful West Reno neighborhoods, Idlewild Park, and finishes at J Resort’s Festival Grounds in downtown Reno. Runners are encouraged to park at the J Resort,
