Hello everybody. I am Gabriel and I am proud and happy to introduce to you my very first 5 K run/ walk. This race was inspired by the struggles that mother faced with a horrific disease called diabetes . My mother was an amazing woman who had taken care of herself and health the best way that she could while she was living with this disease. However, sadly she died last year August of 2024 due to diabetic complications . This was very traumatic for our family .
