The Duck Turkey Trot 5K is an annual charitable run/walk to be held on Thursday November 26, 2026. This event is produced by the First Flight Track Club, a local 501 C-3 nonprofit which helps youth runners in Dare County. The race is open to runners and walkers of all abilities and continues the tradition established by the Advice 5K Turkey Trot. Many vacationers and locals remember this race fondly before its retirement in 2021. This event is for vacationers, homeowners, and locals to celebrate the Thanksgiving Day holiday together.
